"I'm so proud of my baby girl that any previous achievement pales in comparison to the feeling of seeing her happy."
Meet Alejo, a senior team lead and father who joined us more than 2 years ago.
We reached out to learn more about him!
I'm located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I'm a curious person who enjoys learning new things and expanding my knowledge by exploring new hobbies or diving deep into a complex topic. I always strive to grow and challenge myself. My main goal in life is to live calmly and avoid unnecessary stress. I believe that a peaceful mind leads to better decision-making and a happier life overall.
I’m not the most extroverted person out there but I always try to be nice and act with the best possible intentions.
I play guitar and keyboard, and I enjoy getting my hands on a new instrument and teaching myself how to play it. I've achieved this to various degrees - just ask my poor neighbors when I was trying to learn the violin!
I also like photography, gardening and I'm passionate about traveling. I especially love trying local cuisines!
I have an engineering degree in electronics and I worked as a system designer for the Printing industry, but when that company closed, I decided to take a year off and travel.
I was staying at home during the pandemic and I got offered the position through a translations website that I joined in hopes of getting a remote jobl. The possibility of working remotely was the most attractive aspect since I could keep on traveling, something practically impossible as an electronics engineer.

The first months of being a Sr Lead were tough. We started building a very complex process from scratch and I honestly thought we would never achieve a successful working methodology, but after many MANY sleepless nights, I looked back into the operation and everything seemed to be running smoothly. That moment was very rewarding for me.
I recently became a father! I'm so proud of my baby girl that any previous achievement pales in comparison to the feeling of seeing her happy.
Working here is definitely not what comes to mind when thinking about remote positions. It's not monotonous at all and it's a very dynamic environment with lots of human interaction and full of growth possibilities.
Being able to work from anywhere in the world it's my favorite thing about it, but also meeting and interacting with people from many different countries. I love learning about other cultures and ways of life and chatting with someone from across the globe gives me a natural high that I cannot explain!

Never stop hitting the right notes at Invisible, Alejo!
