"The work was immediately engaging and I loved everyone on the team and the fact that we were all from different parts of the world."

But that’s just what he does during the day. We asked Peter to share some fun facts about his background and what makes him unique:

I have a beautiful and supportive girlfriend, and two gremlins for cats.
I love playing bass, drawing, and playing CHESS! Add me on chess.com.
Al pastor tacos are the way to my heart.
I love cooking and trying new recipes.
I work professionally as an audio engineer and music producer in the Los Angeles area.
I will one day own my own recording studio on a vineyard.
I had heard about Invisible through my friend. He knew Kamron [Invisible’s VP of Operations] and told me that I should reach out to him. I had recently finished my certification in Data Analysis and was looking for a job in that field. I emailed back and forth with Kamron and applied to the Operations Analyst position. After a couple of weeks, Kamron got back to me and felt like I’d be a better fit for a new job in AI data training. I was already very interested in AI so the decision was quite easy after he offered me the job.
My experience here has been eye-opening, to say the least. This is my first remote job, so it was a big adjustment (I had previously worked at Trader Joe’s for 7 years). The work was immediately engaging and I loved everyone on the team and the fact that we were all from different parts of the world. And even today after almost 6 months, it is still a fun and engaging job. There are ups and downs, don’t get me wrong. The scaling up that we’re doing has been a bit of a whirlwind and logistically chaotic. But I think that is what I find the most appealing is the constant change and expectation to perform and tackle any obstacle that gets thrown at us. The best part has been seeing this team go from 5-10 people grow to almost 200, and seeing those people from the beginning grow into more leadership roles. It really does feel like we built a small family from that initial team.
We’re so happy to have you on our team, Peter!
