''I recently got into law school with excellent scholarship offers, and I'm very proud of that!''
Meet Steven, a new operator on a quest to make the perfect cup of tea!
We reached out to learn more about him.
I am located in Maine, USA.
I would describe myself as someone who is diligent, open-minded, and lighthearted.
My hobbies include running, reading, and kickboxing. I'm also passionate about tea, and I'm on a constant quest to make the perfect cup.
Prior to Invisible, I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology and a minor in Journalism. I've also worked as a lab technician at a large urban hospital and a historical researcher at a small rural library.
I was referred to Invisible by a friend that I've known since middle school. He sent a link to one of our group chats, and as soon as I read about Invisible's culture and mission, I knew it was an exciting journey that I wanted to be a part of.

My second day at Invisible coincided with a major storm in my area, and resulted in me losing power in the middle of a Zoom call, for 4 days. My onboarding was still in progress so I relocated somewhere I could access the internet, concerned I would fall behind. Thankfully, the flexible and supportive nature of my colleagues and the onboarding team meant that I could easily catch up and get back on track!
I recently got into law school with excellent scholarship offers, and I'm very proud of that!
I would describe Invisible as a dynamic, knowledge-focused, supportive, and vibrant community that brings together cultures, lifestyles, and, most importantly, people from many different backgrounds. There is never a dull moment!
While the main thing I appreciate about Invisible is the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world, the people that make up Invisible are what keeps me excited and happy to open my laptop and start my shift each morning. Despite not having the experience of a physical office or workspace, I feel that the camaraderie between my teammates here at Invisible is just as strong if not stronger than what I have experienced as a part of teams with physical workspaces.
The people that make up Invisible are what keeps me excited and happy to open my laptop and start my shift each morning.
Thanks for fighting the storm for us, Steven!
