GPT-3 Chatbot

In today's challenging business environment, hiring can be a struggle. A recent Invisible survey sheds light onto how business leaders are navigating this issue and finding solutions.

Amid the tumultuous hiring environment, the best insights are into how business leaders are coping and adapting. Let’s take a closer look at the results of the survey and see how business leaders are turning to AI technology to overcome hiring-related challenges.

More Than Half of Business Leaders Report Hiring is Still Frozen

One of the biggest challenges facing business leaders today is the current hiring freeze. Over 50% of business leaders reported that hiring is currently on hold at their organization.

This can be a major obstacle for organizations looking to grow and especially to innovate. However, the results of our survey show that business leaders are finding solutions in AI technology.

Business Leaders Continue to Invest in Automation Technology

The survey of 600 business leaders in late January found that 59% of business leaders are planning to add more automation technology in the next three months. That’s in line with what we learned from business leaders in Q4 2022 when another Invisible survey found that the majority of decision-makers were planning on investing more in automation before the end of the year.

AI Tools Are a Popular Investment

Our January survey found that over 4 in 10 business leaders have already introduced new AI tools to their workflow in the past three months. What are they hoping to do with AI?

  • 59% of business leaders using AI reported that they are using it to develop smarter products or services
  • 55% are using it to make business processes more intelligent
  • 50% are using AI to automate repetitive or mundane tasks.

These Are The Most Popular Workflows to Augment with AI Tools

We found that business leaders are primarily investing in AI tools that help with the following work:

  • Data Operations - 64%
  • Customer Support - 50%
  • Manufacturing - 38%
  • Talent and Recruiting - 36%
  • Copywriting - 28%
