Invisible Spotlight

"I identified a cost reduction opportunity in a manufacturing company I used to work for that saved them 5 million dollars in the first year it was implemented."

Meet Andres, an Invisible Partner with a passion for data who joined our team over 8 months ago.

We reached out to him to learn what makes him a unique addition to our team.

Where are you located?

I am located in Guadalajara, Mexico.

How would you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as a very friendly person, always eager to learn new things, and very passionate about what we are doing here at Invisible.

What are your hobbies?

I like rock climbing, playing the guitar, and working on data-related projects that I find online.

What did you do before Invisible?

I used to work for a major cloud platform as a business analyst. I also helped directors and VPs to get answers to their questions using the data we had in the database. I created dashboards for different departments like HR, Finance, Operations, etc.

How would you describe Invisible to someone who wants to join our team?

I would define it as a very friendly but fast paced environment. There is so much things to do that you will never get bored, but at the same time you have to be comfortable with working under pressure! You have to learn to prioritize your activities - something I’m still struggling to do as I want to please everyone!

What is it that keeps you at Invisible?

The idea of building something amazing that will be part of history, that will help so many people and make things so much more efficient and feeling proud of myself because I was a part of it.

Why did you decide to join Invisible?

When I read about the company I just fell in love with the concept and it’s potential. I wanted to be part of it and I knew that I would learn a lot and actually feel part of it.

Do you have a memorable moment at Invisible to share with us?

Our All-hands and conversational meetings are memorable. There’s so much knowledge and we can connect with each other even though we are separated by thousands of miles.

Can you name something you are proud of? An achievement, or anything else in your life!

I am very proud of my career path and how I helped my previous companies achieve their goals using data, but the most significant one is when I was able to identify a cost reduction opportunity in a manufacturing company I used to work for. It saved them 5 million dollars in the first year it was implemented!

When I read about the Invisible I just fell in love with the concept and its potential.

We like your hunger for data, Andres!
